Community mental health organizations offer a wide range of services to Montrealers. Here is a non-exhaustive list:
reception and orientation, accompaniment, artistic activities, crisis center, day and evening center, advocacy, documentation, listening, assessment, training, self-help group, housing and accommodation, integration and retention in work and studies, crisis intervention, telephone intervention, citizen participation, suicide prevention, mental health prevention and promotion, rehabilitation, social reintegration, respite, socio-judicial services, services for ethnocultural communities, support for families and loved ones, community follow-up, psychosocial follow-up, alternative therapies, and many other activities.

In the event of a crisis
Below is a list of emergency numbers for crisis support*, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are intended for adults in distress, and those around them.
*From mal de vivre to depression, anxiety or anguish to psychological distress, the situations associated with a crisis are manifold.
