Anyone over the age of 18 living with a mental illness is welcome, regardless of their functional capacity—except in cases where the person may pose a serious threat to the general safety of members at the time of application.
For many, the structured work environment and warm sense of community foster self-acceptance and belonging—qualities often lacking in traditional psychiatric rehabilitation settings. Members at UP House are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives and restore social connections disrupted by mental illness.
In every case, UP House focuses on each individual’s strengths, talents, and abilities—promoting well-being and personal growth.
