Mission
The Centre Soutien-Jeunesse is a self-help group for adults living with mental health challenges or emotional difficulties. As a non-profit organization, its unique feature is the active participation of members at all decision-making levels.
The services offered aim to: break social isolation, encourage peer interaction, promote self-expression, and foster a sense of personal empowerment.
CSJ offers an educational program that includes workshops in music, creative writing in French, communication, theater, and visual arts. Members can also enjoy a weekly community supper, attend a café-rencontre, or join a cosom (floor) hockey team.
Twelve individuals also have access to a social and work integration program (PAAS Action).
