Mission
Maison Saint-Dominique (MSD) provides permanent social housing to low-income, single adults living with various mental health challenges, along with integrated community and psychosocial support. By building, acquiring, and managing different types of housing, MSD promotes autonomy, social reintegration, and residential stability for its residents.

Maison St-Dominique (MSD) offers housing AND psychosocial support. The latter is an integral part of the lease agreement.

MSD is a tool designed to support each resident’s journey toward autonomy. In most cases, this process is already underway upon admission. Residents are responsible for managing their own self-care, medication, meals, and apartment upkeep.

Staff are available Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and can be reached by cellphone in case of emergency.

Currently, MSD houses approximately 75 residents across four buildings—three of which are mixed-gender, and one exclusively for women.

At MSD, resident participation and collaboration are strongly encouraged.

Committees made up of residents and staff have been created to assist the Board of Directors in fulfilling its responsibilities and implementing projects. These include the Residents’ Committee, Recreation Committee, Selection Committee, and other ad hoc committees as needed.
