In addition to 37 shelter spaces for women and children, La Maison Grise (LMG) offers a wide range of services for women in the community. These services were developed to extend support beyond shelter and to work proactively in prevention. LMG provides community outreach, as well as individual and group services that address the impacts of all forms of violence, immigration-related challenges, mental health issues, and more. Since its founding, La Maison Grise has been committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of women and their children, while contributing to the development and sustainability of a strong social safety net.
Across all services, LMG works to prevent the long-term consequences of unmet basic needs and addresses the broader social determinants of health. As part of a continuum of care, these services complement those already available in the community and are developed in collaboration with various partners and organizations.
