The organization encourages self-determination and advocates from a place of respect, always upholding each person\u2019s autonomy and expressed will.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bringing together people who live with or have experienced mental health issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defending and promoting their individual and collective rights;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing information and training to support the exercise of those rights;<br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remaining vigilant against abuse and rights violations;<br\/><br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting individuals in filing complaints or asserting their legal rights;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acting as a spokesperson and advocate\u2014representing individuals who have used mental health services, whether voluntarily or involuntarily;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raising public awareness of the realities faced by people with mental health challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>As an organization committed to defending rights, Action Autonomie intervenes in the following cases, among others:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Involuntary hospitalization;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Court-ordered treatment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health and social services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guardianship and legal mandates;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Justice system navigation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accommodation and housing rights;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social assistance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work and employment
